You can Translate Twitter
I just learned that Twitter is currently crowd sourcing the the translation of the Twitter website into German and Italian by Twitter users.

The more you translate the higher level badge you can earn. The Levels go from one to ten and look like this.

The coolest thing about is that you then get invited in some official tweetups where you can meet the team. Ooops, I wasn’t supposed to talk about it 🙂
David, thanks very much for your comment. It was your account that revealed the translation project to me. But, you probably guessed that. On a personal note, I lived on the nearby island of Nevis for 3.5 years. Wonderful.
